We welcome new members to AILASA.
We have waived all membership fees for HDR, ECR, and non-salaried members in 2021.
Membership supports a number of face-to-face and digital initiatives to develop and sustain scholarship of Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. These include:
-
Subscription to the Journal of Iberian and Latin American Research, a refereed journal that is published internationally by Taylor and Francis. Since the 1990s, the journal has published new scholarship on the histories, political economies, sociologies, literatures, and cultures of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. It is published three times each year, and is available either electronically or via a print copy.
-
Discounted registration for our biennial conferences.
-
Regular receipt of the AILASA newsletter, containing information on forthcoming events, Calls for Papers, and publications of interest.
-
Free participation in our regular seminar series. These include series dedicated to leading research from our members, as well as networking and career-development to support emerging scholars.
