Adriana Ferreira

Adriana da Costa Ferreira is a Master of Research candidate at Southern Cross University, Australia, where she investigates community sports networks as spaces of belonging for Latin American women in Australasia. Her research is grounded in a decolonial framework, centring the lived experiences of migrant women as a source of knowledge. Originally from Brazil, Adriana brings over 15y of experience designing and implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programmes across Latin America, including executive mentoring and regional leadership roles spanning 10+ countries. She is a TEDx Speaker and recipient of the Out & Equal LGBTI+  Individual Excellence Award (USA, 2019).
