Irma Enriquez Thompson

Irma Enriquez.  A Mexican Australian pianist, graduated from the UNAM Mexico with B.A in Piano, Diploma in Mexican Art history, M.A in Arts from University of Navarre, Spain, and a Diploma in Governance & Cultural Diplomacy at Universidad Panamericana. Irma’s achievements include the Medal Gustavo Prada-Mexico, Australian Hispanic Women Network, Vivid Sydney Creative Achievement Award, Distinguished Mexican Abroad from the Mexican government, Honourable Award from the Latin American embassies in Australia and Indonesia. Irma has participated in several interviews, articles, documentaries, as a juror for international piano competitions, and included in both musical and Hispanic literature. Irma is a member of the Music Teachers Association of NSW, ComuArte Internacional and a previous Associate professor of ANU-ANCLAS. Irma promotes the multicultural heritage through concerts and multidisciplinary collaborations with constant premieres internationally.
